It's a nice thought. Aww, how sweet. Math love. The only problem is, it's a nerdy joke that wouldn't actually work on real nerds. I read it, and I couldn't help visualizing the scene that would play out if anyone ever tried this trick on me:
...Yeah. Not quite the intended result.
In other news, I spent the weekend on a ski trip in Vermont. A great deal of the weekend was based on this comic, which I find hilarious:
So my friends and I would break out in song on the chairlifts (often freaking out the strangers riding with us) and throw our palms in each other's faces.
Um...Yeah...
I SET FIIIIIIIIRE TO THE RAIN, WATCHED IT POUR, AS I TOUCHED YOUR FACE
*virtually touches your face*
Mah faceeeeeeee. I'd like to tell someone I love them in such a nerdtacular way. It would have to be someone who couldn't work it out though.
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud reading this =D
ReplyDeleteOh my god. Your comic about solving the math problem. Literally the first thing that came to mind when I read it! I didn't actually solve it, because I was too tired to, but I thought about it which totally counts. Also, my a Capella group is singing Set Fire To The Rain. I kind of hate the song, but at one point I get to say banana over and over again and it makes me giggle :)
ReplyDeleteBahahaha that is SO true! This would only work on nerds of the pre-radical-learning variety. Or nerds who are failures at math but nerdTASTIC at everything else.
ReplyDeleteAs for the Adele comic, is anyone else reminded of Dan "Werewolf Jetpack" Bergstein? :D
I love the comic. I would have attempted to solve the problem, too.
ReplyDeletexD That's so true! It's the joke that seems nerdy to non-nerds, but not nerdy at all to actual nerds. :)
